The Varsity Coffee & Soda will feature Peet's Coffee (the only Peet's within 100 miles), and will also feature Dr Pepper-infused specialty drinks on their menu. The design is modern and inviting, but also has a nostalgic nod to Waco which is the birthplace of Dr Pepper. Depicted in an artistic gold design on the ceiling of the shop is a map of downtown Waco. The Varsity is a great place for families who are waiting to begin a tour or who are enjoying the experiences in Carlton Hall after their tour and for alumni and guests who have stopped by to grab a cup of coffee on the go. Future students who come for an official visit to campus will receive a complimentary cup of Peet’s Coffee on us!

The Baylor Spirit Shop offers a wide range of Baylor gear for all ages. This uniquely designed store was a request from the facility’s namesake, Mark Hurd, before his passing in 2019. Mark dreamed of the Welcome Center having a space where prospective families, alumni and friends could easily buy Baylor gear when they visit, come for homecoming and stop by before home games and events. This shop also offers a store within a store that features Nike's latest Baylor-branded products.
